Midfielder Iain Vigurs has returned for a second spell with Inverness CT after leaving Motherwell at the end of the 2014/15 season.
The 27-year-old former Elgin City and Ross County player came on as a substitute in Wednesday night's 0-0 draw against Partick Thistle in the Ladbrokes Premiership.
Caley Thistle boss John Hughes told the club website: "Iain missed a lot of football last season through injury and we've been helping him out with training facilities. He has acquitted himself well and I like what I've seen.
“His fitness levels are surprisingly high and he fits right in with my style of play. He likes to get on the ball and never gives it away. He’s got experience in this league and already knows a few of the players so he’s ready to get stuck right in, which is what we need.”
