Albion Rovers striker Pat Walker has finally shaken off an ankle injury that has troubled him since September and has joined in a full training session with his Coatbridge team-mates.
The 29 year old had scored two goals in six appearances this season before being side-lined and manager James Ward is delighted that Walker will be available to him to help his side’s promotion chase.
Ward said: “Pat is a goalscorer and teams always need goalscorers. We have signed Ryan Donnelly to score goal and Pat will challenge him for a place. His return feels like a new signing being added to the pool so it is very good news.”
