Aberdeen have confirmed that goalkeeper Danny Ward has returned to Anfield after being recalled from his loan spell at Pittodrie.
The 22-year-old Welshman signed a new five-year deal with Liverpool in the summer before joining the Dons at the start of the season.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes told the club website: “We were very fortunate to secure Danny during the summer and we thank Liverpool for believing Pittodrie would be a good platform for Danny to continue his development.
“His progression has been clear for all to see and he's demonstrated to everyone what a capable keeper he is. Everyone at AFC would like to thank him for all his efforts during his time here and wish him the very best in his future career.”
