Annan’s experienced centre back or striker Peter Weatherston is still very active at the Galabank club despite being out of action since last November with a serious knee injury.
The 34 Morton legend joined the Galabank men last summer in a playing and coaching role and it is the latter that is keeping him busy at the moment.
Manager Jim Chapman said: “Peter is still recovering from his knee operation so there will be no quick return to playing however the bright side of that is that he is gaining more coaching experience.”
“He is working towards his B Licence and we are supporting him in doing that.”
