There are two SPFL matches on Wednesday evening, with action in both the Premiership and the Championship:
Celtic v Kilmarnock - Wednesday, kick-off 7.45pm
Ronny Deila's team have the chance to move eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership when they face a Killie side who are in ninth place, seven points above the relegation zone. Celtic go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Inverness CT on Saturday while Kilmarnock were beaten 2-1 by Aberdeen at Rugby Park on Sunday. The leaders have come out on top by 2-0 margins in the two meetings already this season.
Livingston v Rangers - Wednesday, kick-off 7.45pm
Livingston's recent victory in the Petrofac Training Cup has been followed by crucial league wins against Falkirk and Cowdenbeath, which has closed the gap on second-bottom Alloa to three points. Rangers saw off Raith Rovers 4-0 at Ibrox on Sunday and a point would be enough to lift them above Hibernian and into second place in the table. The sides drew 1-1 last month, with Rangers winning the other meetings 1-0 at the Energy Assets Arena and 2-0 at Ibrox.
