There’s another big weekend of football coming up across all four divisions of the SPFL – here are four games to look out for on Saturday…
Ladbrokes Premiership - Hibernian v Aberdeen
It looks like a fascinating clash at Easter Road as fourth-placed Hibernian take on an Aberdeen side in second spot and three points ahead of Rangers. The Dons have won three Premiership games on the trot since losing at Ibrox, scoring 10 goals in the process, while Hibs have beaten Motherwell and Rangers in their last two outings to boost their European ambitions.
Livingston v St Mirren - Ladbrokes Championship
The top two meet at the Tony Macaroni Arena. Saints have a 14-point advantage at the summit and a win in West Lothian would be another big step towards a top-flight return for the Buddies. St Mirren are on a run of four straight league wins but Livi have also been in good form of late and are enjoying an outstanding campaign after stepping up from League 1 last season.
Arbroath v Alloa Athletic - Ladbrokes League 1
It's fourth against third at Gayfield, with just a point between two teams hoping to secure a play-off place come the end of April. Arbroath are unbeaten in the league since losing to Raith Rovers just before Christmas while the Wasps have taken seven points from their last three games. It looks like a tough one to call between Dick Campbell's men and Jim Goodwin's side.
Elgin City v Montrose - Ladbrokes League 2
Montrose have a six-point lead over Peterhead at the top of the table and have been outstanding on the road this season, winning nine of their 12 games. Their only away defeat was at Borough Briggs back in September and Elgin have the best home record in the division. The Moray men are just two points outside the play-off places so this is a massive game for both clubs.
