This weekend sees the final round of SPFL fixtures before Christmas, with several big games across the four divisions.

Here are some key matches to look out for…

St Johnstone v Hearts - Ladbrokes Premiership
It's fourth against third at McDiarmid Park and a home win will see St Johnstone leapfrog their visitors, with both teams looking to bounce back from defeats to leading pair Celtic and Aberdeen. If this game is anything like their previous meeting then we are in for a treat - Robbie Neilson's side edged a Tynecastle thriller 4-3 back on the opening weekend.

Falkirk v Rangers - Ladbrokes Championship
The Saturday lunchtime clash is live on BT Sport, with a 12.30pm kick-off. Rangers make the short journey to the Falkirk Stadium three points clear of second-placed Hibernian, with Falkirk in third spot. The Bairns are enjoying an excellent season and have lost just twice in 16 Championship matches - 2-1 at Ibrox and 1-0 at home to Hibs.

Peterhead v Ayr United - Ladbrokes League 1
Ayr's 14-match unbeaten league run came to an end against leaders Dunfermline last Saturday and they are looking to bounce straight back at Balmoor. That will be no easy task for Ian McCall's men as the Blue Toon have suffered just one defeat in eight home League 1 matches and currently occupy the final play-off place.

Elgin City v Queen's Park - Ladbrokes League 2
There's a fascinating game in store at Borough Briggs where Elgin, in fourth, put their unbeaten home record on the line against in-form Queen's Park. Jim Weir's team have won six and drawn one of their seven home matches while the Spiders head north on the back of four straight wins. They are two points above their hosts and three behind leaders Annan.
