@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:
46 Celtic's 5-0 win over Dundee on Friday night, coupled with Aberdeen's loss to Dundee United the following day, means the Bhoys are champions of Scotland for the 46th time. The Parkhead side have now won four league titles in a row, their best run of consecutive championships since Jock Stein's nine-in-a-row side in the 1960s and 1970s. Ronny Deila became the first manager from outside the British Isles to win the title in 15 years, since Dick Advocaat guided Rangers to the 1999/00 SPL championship.
3 Partick Thistle secured their Premiership safety with a 3-0 victory over bottom club St Mirren at Firhill on Saturday. Alan Archibald's side have recorded three Premiership wins in a row, the first time the Jags have done so in the top flight in over 20 years. The last time they managed such a run came in April 1995, when “Back For Good” by Take That was UK No 1. Thistle will now play in the top flight for a third consecutive season – their best run since the mid-90s.
8 Livingston completed their great escape on Saturday, defeating Queen of the South 1-0 at the Energy Assets Arena to climb out of the Championship bottom two and secure an eighth-place finish. With six matches to go, Mark Burchill's side were six points adrift of Alloa in eighth, and five behind Cowdenbeath in ninth, and looked doomed to life in League 1. However, following their Petrofac Training Cup success, they picked up four wins and a draw to leapfrog both sides and secure another year in the Championship.
10 Morton came from behind to beat Peterhead 3-1 at Cappielow and secure the League 1 title and an immediate return to the Championship. The Ton have now won 10 league titles across various divisions – they have won the second-tier title six times, the third tier on three occasions and the fourth tier once. The battle for the trophy was intense, but Jim Duffy's side secured it by winning six of their last seven fixtures and all of their last four.
3 East Fife secured the final League 2 play-off place courtesy of a 3-1 win over Elgin City at Bayview. There were still six sides scrapping over that final place with a few weeks to go, but Gary Naysmith's men snatched it courtesy of three wins in their last four matches. It will be a third consecutive year in these play-offs for the Fifers – they stayed in what was then the Second Division in 2012/13, but were relegated by the same process last season.
