@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

23 Kilmarnock secured their Premiership safety with an impressive 4-1 victory over Partick Thistle at Firhill. The Ayrshire side matched their biggest-ever winning margin against the Jags at Firhill - they had recorded three previous three-goal wins, the most recent of which was over 60 years ago. Next season will be the 23rd consecutive season that Rugby Park has hosted top-flight football – only Celtic, Aberdeen and Motherwell can boast a better record of top-flight longevity, and Well are in danger of dropping out of the top flight this year.

0 Rangers defeated Queen of the South 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the Premiership play-off semi-final against Hibernian. Stuart McCall remains unbeaten at Ibrox since taking over as boss in March, picking up three wins and four draws from his seven home matches in charge. Semi-final opponents Hibs were the last visiting side to win at Ibrox – that was back in February when Kenny McDowall was managing the Glasgow club.

3 Alloa Athletic beat Forfar Athletic 3-0 at the Indodrill Stadium to overturn a two-goal first-leg deficit and retain their place in the Championship for another season. The Wasps have now won the play-offs on three occasions, more than any other side, since they were introduced back in 2005/06. The Clackmannanshire side will now play in the second tier for a third consecutive season, which is their longest run at this level since the reconstruction into three divisions back in 1975.

7 Stenhousemuir defeated Queen's Park 2-1 on aggregate to win the League 1 play-offs and retain their place in the third tier of Scottish football for another season. It was the second time the Warriors have won the League 1 play-offs, having also achieved success in 2007/08 after beating Cowdenbeath on penalties. Next year will be their seventh consecutive season in League 1 – only Brechin City (10 years) have been in the division for longer.

39 Montrose retained their spot in the SPFL by defeating Brora Rangers 3-2 on aggregate. The Gable Endies trailed 2-1 overall with 15 minutes to go, but a goal from 39-year-old Marvin Andrews drew them level before Garry Wood fired in the winner a minute later. Since making his debut for Raith Rovers over 17 years ago, Andrews has played for nine different clubs across all four divisions of the SPFL.
