@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:
6 St Johnstone defeated Dundee United 2-0 at Tannadice on Saturday to record their sixth win over the Terrors in seven attempts. That run is all the more impressive when you consider that Saints had only won one of their 15 previous games against United. Amazingly, none of the matches involving Tommy Wright's side this season have featured more than three goals. The last time Saints had a match with more goals was their 3-3 draw with Celtic last May – since then they have played 36 games in all competitions.
13 Aberdeen's 3-0 victory over St Mirren kept them in touch with Celtic at the top of the Premiership, and extended their unbeaten league run to 13 matches. Dons keeper Scott Brown has kept 11 clean sheets in those 13 matches, and has kept a total of 13 clean sheets in his 16 league appearances since making his debut against Motherwell in October. The Dons are now unbeaten in their last nine games against St Mirren, since losing a League Cup tie on penalties in October 2012.
7 Hearts' 2-1 win over Queen of the South at Palmerston maintained their 20-point lead at the top of the Championship, and moved them to within seven wins of the title. Robbie Neilson's side have now won seven consecutive away league matches, which is their best run since the 2010/11 season. The Jam Tarts have not lost an away league game since a 4-2 defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on March 8 last year – their run will have extended to over a year by the time they next play away from home against Raith Rovers on March 17. If they avoid defeat, they will equal a club record of 17 away games without defeat, set between December 1957 and November 1958.
13 Brechin City's 1-0 victory away to Stirling Albion on Saturday moved them back into the League 1 play-off places and took them to within seven points of leaders Stranraer. Ray McKinnon's side are now unbeaten in their last 13 league matches, which is their best run in over a decade. The last time they managed a lucky 13 in a row, the UK No 1 singles chart included U2 anthem “Vertigo” and dancefloor hit “Call on Me” by Eric Prytz. That run came between September and January of the 2004/05 season, when City went on to win the Second Division title.
7 Queen's Park leapfrogged Albion Rovers and Arbroath to move to the top of the League 2 table with a 2-1 victory over Berwick Rangers at Hampden on Saturday. The Spiders are now unbeaten in seven consecutive home league matches, their best run since December to March of the 2010/11 season. The Glasgow club have picked up more points at home than any other club in the division, despite losing their opening two home games of the season while playing at Airdrie.
