@splstats takes a look at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:
19 Inverness CT and Motherwell have now met 19 times at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium in all competitions without a single draw. Saturday's 3-1 success for Inverness was their seventh victory in this fixture, with Motherwell coming out on top in the other 12 meetings in the Highlands. The Caley Jags did draw their first home SPL meeting with the Steelmen, but that match was played at Pittodrie.
14 Hearts' 2-0 victory over Rangers at Tynecastle moved them nine points clear at the top of the Championship table. Robbie Neilson's side's tally of 38 points from their opening 14 matches is the Jam Tarts' best ever start to a league season, even when previous seasons are converted to three points for a win. Their previous best tally, based on three points for a win, was 37 in both 1894/95 and 1914/15. Hearts have now extended their unbeaten run to 15 league matches, and have eight wins out of eight at Tynecastle in all competitions.
5 Hibernian’s 6-3 win over Dumbarton at the Bet Butler Stadium on Saturday meant that Alan Stubbs' side have recorded five consecutive away victories for the first time in over 33 years. Their last such run came back in August and September of 1980. “Start!” by The Jam was UK No 1 when they recorded their fifth victory against Ayr at Somerset Park. Saturday's match was also the first time they had found the net six times in a match since their 6-6 draw with Motherwell at Fir Park in May 2010. Dominique Malonga's hat-trick on Saturday was their first away from home in the league since Colin Nish struck three times in that 6-6 game.
10 Stranraer's 1-0 victory at home to Airdrieonians extended their unbeaten league run to 10 matches. This is just the third time in the last 20 years the Blues have reached double figures without defeat in the league – one of those was a club record run of 15 without defeat in 2004. Stephen Aitken's side have won five consecutive home league matches in all competitions, their best run since 2008.
4 East Stirlingshire's 4-0 win over Montrose at Ochilview on Saturday was their biggest league victory in over four years. The last time they won by a four-goal margin was back in March 2010, when a Simon Lynch hat-trick and a goal from Andy Rodgers helped them to a 4-0 victory over Forfar Athletic. The Shire have also kept clean sheets in two consecutive league matches for just the third time since 2010.
