@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

4 Ross County's 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock on Saturday moved them further clear of bottom club St Mirren in the battle for survival. County have now recorded four consecutive wins at the Global Energy Stadium, having previously suffered seven consecutive home defeats. The last time they managed four home league wins in a row was October to December 2011, in their SFL1 championship-winning campaign – they hadn't previously managed four in a row in the top flight.

51 Celtic recorded their third win over Dundee United in the last seven days to move five points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Premiership table. Those three victories mean that the Bhoys are now unbeaten in their last 51 matches against United in Glasgow. The Tannadice club's last triumph came back on Boxing Day 1992, when Duncan Ferguson scored the winner. Since then, Celtic have recorded 39 wins and the other 12 matches have finished level.

7 Heart of Midlothian's 3-0 win over Falkirk, and Hibernian's subsequent defeat to Rangers, secured the Championship title for Robbie Neilson's men with seven matches (or 19.4% of their season) to spare. No club had previously won the second-tier title with so much of their season still remaining – the previous best was six matches (16.7%) set by Clyde in 1956/57 and again by Morton in 1963/64. Their winning date of March 22 is the earliest for the division since Partick Thistle won it on February 21, 1976 but that came in a shortened season which ended a week later.

322 A late Andy Stirling goal helped Stirling Albion defeat Peterhead 2-1 to record their first league win at Forthbank in 322 days. The Binos' previous home league victory (excluding play-offs) was a 4-1 success against Clyde on the final day of last season, and they had gone 14 without a victory this season, breaking a club record in the process. Prior to Saturday, the only time they had tasted success at Forthbank in any competition this season was their Scottish Cup replay against Hurlford, which they won 13-12 on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

5 Albion Rovers defeated Queen's Park 1-0 at Hampden to move seven points clear of their opponents at the top of League 2. Rovers have now recorded five wins in a row for just the second time in the last 25 years. The other occasion came between December 2006 and January 2007, when Mika topped the UK music charts with “Grace Kelly”. Rovers' club record for consecutive wins is seven – if they can break that then the League 2 trophy will surely be heading to Coatbridge.
