@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

11 Aberdeen's 4-0 victory over Ross County at Pittodrie on Saturday moved them level on points with Celtic at the top of the Premiership, and extended their long unbeaten run in the league. The Dons have now gone 11 league matches without defeat for the first time since April-August 1994 – “Love is All Around” by Wet Wet Wet spent most of that run at the top of the UK music charts. Adam Rooney's opener on Saturday was his 30th goal in 52 appearances for Aberdeen.

55 Raith Rovers defeated Rangers 2-1 in Sunday's Scottish Cup tie to record their first away win at Ibrox in just over 55 years. Their last success came in November 1959, when Rovers came from 2-0 down to record a 3-2 victory courtesy of a double from Jim Kerray and a strike from a certain Jim Baxter. Since then, the Kirkcaldy side had visited Ibrox 19 times as the away side, and had suffered 17 defeats, conceding 81 goals in the process. Rovers had, of course, recorded one more recent win at Ibrox, defeating Celtic on penalties in the 1994/95 League Cup final after a 2-2 draw.

24 Celtic moved into the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup courtesy of a 2-0 victory away to Dundee. The Parkhead side have now gone an astonishing 24 matches without defeat at Dens Park, a run stretching back to September 1988 when Tommy Coyne's goal handed the Dee a 1-0 win. Ronny Deila's side are one of just three Premiership clubs in the last eight of the tournament – the lowest number of top-flight clubs at this stage since 2005/06, when Hibernian, Falkirk and eventual winners Hearts were the only SPL teams involved.

9 Falkirk moved into the last eight of the Scottish Cup courtesy of a 2-1 victory at home to League 1 side Brechin City. The Bairns have now recorded nine consecutive home wins over Brechin, a run which stretches back 30 years. The Angus side's last win in Falkirk came at Brockville back in November 1985, when Ken Eadie scored the only goal of the game. The Bairns also continued their 100% record in Scottish Cup ties against Brechin – this was the fourth time the sides have met in the competition, and the Bairns have won on each occasion.

5 Elgin City recorded a 2-0 win over Albion Rovers at Borough Briggs to move five points clear of bottom spot and to within six points of a League 2 play-off place. Jim Weir's side are now unbeaten in five league matches, having previously gone 12 games without a win. The Black and Whites have picked up 13 points from those five games, having only accumulated 11 in their opening 15 matches. That run is even more impressive when you consider that each of the other matches had been away from home – Saturday's match was Elgin's first home match to survive the weather in over two months.
