There are games across three divisions of the SPFL this weekend while the Ladbrokes League 2 clubs are involved in the Scottish Cup.
Here are three matches to look out for on Saturday…
Aberdeen v Motherwell - Ladbrokes Premiership
With leaders Celtic not in action until Sunday - when they welcome bottom club Dundee United to Parkhead - Aberdeen have the chance to return to the top of the table on Saturday. The Dons are looking to end a three-game losing streak in the league after going down to Inverness CT (2-1), St Johnstone (5-1) and Ross County (2-0). There is added intrigue with the return to Pittodrie of former Aberdeen player and manager Mark McGhee for the second game of his second spell in charge of Motherwell.
Raith Rovers v Hibernian - Ladbrokes Championship
Hibernian moved up to second place in the table when they beat Falkirk 1-0 in a rearranged game in midweek. Alan Stubbs' side meet leaders Rangers at the beginning of November but first face a tough test against a Raith Rovers team who sit third after a superb run of form under new manager Ray McKinnon. The Kirkcaldy club lost 2-0 at Easter Road earlier in the season but have strung together five straight victories since going down to Rangers in early September.
Dunfermline Athletic v Forfar Athletic - Ladbrokes League 1
Dunfermline regained top spot last weekend thanks to a 3-0 win at Stranraer as Ayr were held to a 2-2 draw at Forfar. The Pars have already beaten Dick Campbell' side twice at Station Park this season - 3-0 in the Petrofac Training Cup and 4-0 on league business. Forfar, meanwhile, have slipped out of the play-off places after taking just two points from their last four matches.
