Airdrieonians have parted company with manager Mark Wilson by mutual consent after less than a year in charge.
The former Celtic and Dundee United defender replaced Kevin McBride at the end of October and guided the Diamonds to third place in Ladbrokes League 1 but they were beaten by Alloa in the play-offs.
A club statement read: "After his first taste of management, Mark has decided that he now wishes to expand his coaching horizons across the game.
"Everybody at the club would like to thank Mark for his hard work and solid professionalism and we wish him well for the future."
