Albion Rovers boss Darren Young has signed striker Ross Stewart from Junior side Kilwinning Rangers for the 2016/17 season.
The 20-year-old had spells with St Mirren, Partick Thistle and Celtic as a youth player and links up with fellow new boys Ryan Wallace and Calum Ferguson at the Exsel Group Stadium.
Young said: “He has good feet for a big man, holds the ball up well and has an eye for goal. He should complement the two other strikers that we have. If he works hard and continues to improve there’s no reason he can’t go on to an even higher level.”
