Rangers defender Marius Zaliukas is expected to be out for a number of weeks with a knee injury.
The 30-year-old former Hearts player moved to Ibrox this summer after a spell with Leeds United.
Boss Ally McCoist told the club website: "He went over to Lithuania and was scanned and he’s certainly going to be out for a few weeks."
Rangers, who face Raith Rovers at Ibrox on Saturday, are also still without goalkeeper Cammy Bell due to a shoulder injury.
