Former St Johnstone defender Graham Gartland has been appointed assistant manager to Neil McCann at Dundee.
The Irishman moves to Dens Park from Shamrock Rovers, where he had been a key member of the Academy set-up at the Dublin club.
McCann told the Dundee website: "I’m delighted to have Graham on board. He is someone I have known for a number of years and will be a great addition to the club.
“He knows Scottish football and has sound opinions on the game but, most importantly, he is a man who shares the same values that I aim to instil into the team.”
