Elgin City boss Barry Wilson has praised Paul Kaczan for stepping in and helping his side by playing his first game in nearly two and a half years.
The Borough Briggs team headed to Stirling on Tuesday night short of bodies due to injury and suspension and 31 year old Kaczan put a hip injury behind him to play as a trialist in a 1-1 draw.
After not playing since November 2011 Kaczan lasted for more than an hour with Wilson saying: “Paul has been training away on his fitness for a while now so we have always remained in touch with us. He offered to play and we were delighted to include him as we were so short of experience.”
“I would imagine he was sore afterwards but we are really grateful that he came and played.”
