Morton sign Oyenuga

Morton have signed striker Kudus Oyenuga on a one-year deal following his departure from Hartlepool United at the end of last season.

The 23-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur forward has previous experience in the SPFL with St Johnstone, Dundee United and Cowdenbeath and could make his debut against Hamilton Accies in the Betfred Cup this evening.

Manager Jim Duffy told the Morton website: "He has trained very well amongst the boys and I just felt he fitted in and would be a different type of striker to what we have.

"Kudus can play with his back to goal because he’s a physically strong boy but he can also get in behind because he has a turn of pace."
