Queen of the South have named East Fife boss Gary Naysmith as their new manager following the recent departure of Gavin Skelton.
The former Scotland full-back and his assistant Dougie Anderson will take over at Palmerston after East Fife's Scottish Cup replay against Edinburgh City on Monday night.
Naysmith, 38, had been in charge at Bayview since December 2013 and led the Methil club to the Ladbrokes League 2 title last season.
He told the QOS website: "I'm thrilled to be taking over at Queens. I've loved my time at East Fife and thank them for giving me the opportunity but I'm delighted to be making the move back to a full-time club and being able to work with the players on a daily basis."
