Montrose have made their Christmas Eve game against Stirling Albion at Links Park a ‘Pay what you can’ affair, with normal admission scrapped.
The match kicks off at 1.00pm and is important for both clubs, who are separated by only a couple of points in the bottom half of the Ladbrokes League 2 table.
Montrose chairman John Crawford said: “We have a fantastic local support, which we rely heavily upon. We wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to them all, and what better time than the day before Christmas.
“We have never done this before but hope, along with the early kick-off, it encourages a large crowd to come and support the boys and our new manager Stewart Petrie.”
