1.3 The SPFL may amend or supplement the Game Rules from time to time and the SPFL will be the sole decision-maker of any matter of interpretation of the Game Rules. The Game Rules form part of these terms and conditions.

1.4 By registering for an SPFL Score Predictor account online at www.spfl.co.uk/register and by submitting score predictions, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which may be updated from time to time. Please read these terms and conditions, including the Game Rules, carefully before registering for an account. Please check regularly for updates to these terms and conditions and for updates to the Game Rules.

1.5 You will comply with the website Terms of Use when you use your SPFL Score Predictor account and when you participate in the Game.

1.6 The Game is a competition which allows participants to compete for prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the participant with the most points in the Game at various points throughout the 2023/24 SPFL season and at the end of the 2023/24 SPFL season. Correct Score Prizes will also be awarded to the participants that correctly predict correct scores in “Rounds” of the Game as detailed in condition 8 below. Further details of how to play the Game, the eligibility criteria and the prizes are set out in conditions 3, 4 and 5 below. Please see www.spfl.co.uk/score-predictor/pages/rules-of-play for a list of the prizes that are available to win.

2. How to participate

2.1 The Game will run from 4.00pm on 31/07/2023 to 11.59pm on 24/06/2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.

- To participate in the Game you must create an SPFL Score Predictor account on the website at www.spfl.co.uk/register

2.2 You may register for an account at any time before the Closing Date and you may participate in the Game at any time before the relevant deadline for submitting score predictions for the final "Round" of the Game (see below at condition 3.1 for information on Rounds and deadlines for Rounds).

2.3 Anyone can register for an account to participate in the Game. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria to be eligible to win a prize (see below at condition 4.1).

2.4 When you create an SPFL Score Predictor account, you will be asked to provide a username which will be displayed on the leaderboard on the website. The SPFL reserves the right to reject a username that, in the SPFL's sole opinion, is inappropriate, offensive or confusing. In the event that a username is rejected, the participant will be notified and given seven days within which to change his or her username. If the participant does not respond within seven days the SPFL may, at its sole discretion, suspend the participant's SPFL Score Predictor account until the issue has been resolved to the satisfaction of the SPFL. In the event that the participant responds within seven days with an alternative proposed username and that username is again rejected by the SPFL at its sole discretion, the participant will be treated as being in breach of these terms and conditions and the SPFL will suspend indefinitely or delete the participant's SPFL Score Predictor account.

2.5 No purchase of any item or services is necessary in order to play the Game and there is no charge to register for an SPFL Score Predictor account or to play the Game.

3. How to play the Game and earn points

3.1 The Game is divided into "Rounds" and each "Round" will be a grouping of six SPFL league match fixtures as specified by the SPFL ("Round"). The match fixtures which will make up a Round may be selected from any of the four SPFL Divisions (Premiership, Championship, League 1 or League 2). Participants must accurately predict the correct result or score of a match fixture within a Round to earn points. Points will be awarded to a participant based on how close his or her score prediction is to the final score of the relevant match fixture.

3.2 In order to qualify for points, you must submit all of your score predictions for a Round by the deadline for that Round. One hour before the official kick-off time of the first game within the Round is the deadline for submitting all of your score predictions for that Round. This means that if the first match in the Round kicks off on Saturday at 3pm and there is another match in the Round that kicks off on Sunday at 3pm, the Round will close for entries on Saturday at 2pm.

3.3 Points are awarded to participants as follows:

3.3.1 Where a participant predicts a correct result but not the correct score (i.e. win/lose/draw): 2 points;

3.3.2 Where a participant predicts a correct score (i.e. correct prediction of the number of goals scored): 5 points; and

3.3.3 Where a participant fails to predict a correct result or score: 0 points.

3.4 The scoring is calculated on the match result after regular play (i.e. 90 minutes). Goals scored in extra time or penalty shoot-outs are not taken into account in determining how many points are allocated to each participant.

3.5 In addition to submitting score prediction for a Round, you will be asked to provide a Golden Goal prediction for that Round, that is, you should predict the minute of the first goal to be scored in the Round. Participants' Golden Goal predictions will be used to determine the winner in the event of a tie break if required.

3.6 The SPFL will not accept:

3.6.1 responsibility for score predictions that are incomplete or where there is delayed transmission across the internet, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

3.6.2 proof of transmission as proof of receipt of score predictions.

3.7 For help with using your account and for guidance on submitting score predictions, please see the Game Rules or contact [email protected].
